<br />5. ELECTRICAL CODE FEES AND CHARGES

<br />(a) Electrical Permit Fees
<br />
<br /> The minimum fee for each permit shall be
<br />$15.00, including issuance. Fees in excess of
<br />said minimum shall be determined according to the
<br />following schedules:
<br />
<br />(1)
<br />
<br />For new construction and relocation on residential
<br /> single family, multi-family, hotels, motels
<br /> and all other R Occupancies:
<br />
<br />A Five dollar ($5.00) permit issuance
<br />fee.
<br />
<br />Two cents (2~) per square foot per
<br />floor; plus five dollars ($5.00) for
<br />each service meter; and
<br />
<br />One cent ($0.01) per square foot for
<br />detached or attached garages or carports
<br />

<br />For all occupancies, except as provided for in
<br /> paragraph (a) (2) above, including altera-
<br /> tions, additions, repairs, and improvements:
