Ogden Markel <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />As Reverend Don Jor~en of the First Methodist Church did not appear to <br />give the invocation, the meeting was opened with a silent prayer. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes <br />of July 7, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and approved <br />on motion of Councilmen Hubbard, seconded by ~,11 and carried. <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Improvements on Daisy, <br />Myrtle and Pine Streets, <br />Assessment Dist No.198 <br />Reso. No. 58-172 award- <br />ing <br /> contrac~ ~ <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids was presented for the improvements on Daisy, Myrtle and Pine <br /> <br />Streets in Assessment District No. 198, as follows: <br /> Total <br />Cox Bros.
