No. 58-192 <br />Adopting Budget <br />(Gas Tax Funds) <br /> <br />pass to the West Coast Theatre to George Glenn Skeith III, 1022 Concord Street, <br />Santa Aha, who w~s the outstanding driver of the month in the Santa Aha Safe <br /> <br />Driving Campaign. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~ ]men Gould, seconded by Hall and carried, the rec~ndation of <br />the Planning C~,~ssion was approved and the variance of Charles E. and Leona F. <br />Miller granted to permit erection of a Texas Oil Company gas station 9n property <br />at 509 North Bristol Street, in an R-2 District, existing buildings to be demolished, <br />subject to conditions and the dedication of ~o additional feet On Bristol <br /> <br />Street. Councilm~n Hubbard disqualified himself on this matter. <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~l~n Gould, seconded by .Wsll and carried, the rec~ndation of <br />the Planning Commission was approved and the variance of P.E. and Ferne I. Fennell <br />granted to remodel existing duplex building and establish and operate interior <br />design offices, at 1401 Bush Street, in an R-3 District, subject to conditions. <br /> <br />O~ motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and .carried, the rec~m,endation of <br />the Pl~nntug Commission was approved and the variance of Gregorio Valenzuela grante~ <br />to permit the ccmbt-ation of two lots as one parcel and to construct a single-family <br />residence on balance of vacant westerly portion of property at ~22 Central Avenue <br />and first lot west ~hereof, in an R-1 District, subject to a condition. <br /> <br />The Council having 1,~--imously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Counc~lm-~ Hubbard, seconded by ]{~13 and carried, the following Resolution entitled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 58-191 accepting Deeds granting property for the <br /> widening of North Main Street and easements for construction and <br /> maintenance of a water line and appurtenances where the City is <br /> paying no cash consideration to the Grantors" <br /> <br />from Jessie F. Cochems, granting an easement for street purposes on the westerly <br />side of Main Street, Just north of Tenth Street; from Peggy Gorzeman granting an <br />easement for the .widening of North Main Street, on the east side Just north of 17th <br />Street, together with a spandrel corner at said intersection; from C.S. and Laura M. <br />Lee, for the widening of North Main Street; frc~ Carl J. and Lena A. Klatt for the <br />construction and maintenance of a water line west of Tustin Avenue, approximately <br />620.68 feet south of the center line of 17th Street; and from M~tcalf Plaza for <br />construction and maintenance of a water line running easterly from NO~th Main Street <br />to the Santa Aha Freeway approximately 185.10 feet north of the southerly line of <br />Township 4 South, ~,-ge 10 West, S.B.B.&.M., was considered and passed by the <br /> <br />following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br /> Ro~ E.
