<br />The Mayor announced this is the time and place for hearing protests or objections
<br />against the t~rovement of sixth Street and Hawley Street as described in Resolu-
<br />tion of Intention No. 58-175 and asked the Clerk if she wes in possession of the
<br />affidavit of publication, affidavit of posting and affidavit of mailing. The Clerk
<br />stated she had the affidavits and on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould
<br />and carried, the affidavits were received and filed. The Mayor asked the Clerk if
<br />she had received any written protests or objections against the doing of the pro-
<br />posed work. The Clerk said that no written protests had been received. The Mayor
<br />asked if anyone in the audience wished to protest and none being heard, on motion
<br />of Councilman Hubbard, seomnded by Gould and carrisd, the hearing was closed.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No, 58-199 of the City Council of the City of Santa Aha ordering
<br /> work to be done on Sixth Street and Hawley Street, in accordance with Reso-
<br /> lution of Intention No. 58-175"

<br />in Assessment District No. 203, was considered and passed by the following vote:

<br />This being the date set for hearing on the vacation of a public service water line
<br />easement five feet wide on the south side of Delhi Road, beginning at a point 338
<br />feet east of the southeast corner of the intersection of Main Street and Delki Road~
<br />extending south 205 feet} no protests were received. The Council having unanimously
<br />waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by
<br />Hall and carried, the following Resolution entitled:

<br /> "Resolution No. 58-200 ordering the vacatioa of a public service water
<br /> line easement running south from Delhi Road.
<br />
<br />was considered and passed by the following vote:

<br />This being the date set for hearing and no protests havin~ been received, Amendment
<br />Application No. 257 filed by Edgar E. Cox, was considered to reclassify from C-2
<br />and R-1 Districts to C-l-PR District, property situated on the south side of 17th
<br />Street between Lincoln Avenue and Fairmamt Street. On motion of Councilmam Hubbard,
<br />seconded by Hall and carried, the follo~ng Ordinance entitled:

<br /> "Grdinance ~m,nding Article IX of the santa Aha Municipal Code to change
<br /> the district classification of certain property and to adopt Sectional
<br /> District Map 7-5-9"

<br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading.

<br />Os motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard ~xi carried, Revised Tentative
<br />Tract Map No. 2482 filed by Action Engineering Company for Ounningham Compan~ on
<br />property bounded on the north by Chestnut Avenue~ on the west by a line approximate-
<br />ly 800' west of the S.P. Railroad, on the east by a line approximately 396' west of
<br />the S.P. Rat~road and on the south by a line approximately 2,132' south of Chestnut
<br />A~anu~, consisting of 78 lots,was approved subject to conditions recommended by the
<br />Planning Department, with the exception of the condition requiring an alley along
<br />the east line of the tract through Lot 78 going to Chestnut Avenue.
