E$C:adg <br />8/23/78 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 78-118 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA FIXING CHARGES FOR THE <br />INSTALLATION OF THE NEW WATER MAINS AND <br />FRONT FOOTAGE CHARGES FOR CONNECTION TO <br />EXISTING WATER MAINS FOR WHICH NO PAYMENT <br />HAS PREVIOUSLY BEEN MADE AND REPEALING <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-77 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> 1. That the following rates shall be charged to <br />all applicants requiring the installation of new water mains <br />as provided for in Section 39-22 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code. Upon the determination of the Director of Public Works <br />of the size or sizes required, for the proposed development, <br />the following charges shall be made: <br /> <br />6" or smaller water mains at $12.00 per linear foot. <br />8" water mains at $14.00 per linear foot. <br />10" water mains at $19.00 per linear foot <br />12" or larger water mains at $22.00 per linear foot. <br /> <br /> 2. That none of the above charges shall be made <br />if the applicant installs water mains and hydrants, at his <br />own expense, to the satisfaction of the Director of Public <br />Works. <br /> <br /> 3. That a charge of one-half of the applicable <br />linear foot charge multiplied by the number of feet of front- <br />age of the parcel or lot shall be collected for each recorded <br />parcel or lot requiring the connection of a service to an <br />existing water main for which no previous payment has been <br />made for such parcel or lot. <br /> <br /> 4. That Resolution No. 77-77 fixing charges for <br />water mains is hereby repealed, effective September 15, 1978. <br /> <br /> 5.
