EESOLUTION NO. 79-10 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE SALARY RANGE <br />ASSIGNED TO THE CLASS OF HOUSING COORDINATOR <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifi- <br />cation and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval <br />of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has been unable to attract a sufficient number of qualified <br />candidates from which to select a capable individual to fill the middle-management <br />position of Housing Coordinator which has been vacant since July 1978; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, special surveys of salaries paid similar positions in comparable <br />agencies reveals that the salary rate range currently assigned to the City's position <br />is sufficiently below the average to be considered non-competitive. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED'by the City co'Uncil of.%he City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281~ <br /> a~ amended,'~ishereby further <br /> amended by changing the Salary Range assigned to the class title of <br /> Housing Coordinator (MM) from No. 379 ($1327-$1612) to No. 393 ($1420-$1725). <br /> <br />2.
