Ogden Markel <br />D~].e H. ~e~n]y <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend Robert Shuler, Jr., of the First Methodist Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of the <br />meeting of November 3, 1958, reading of the Minutes was dispensed with and <br />approved on motion of Co~]lc~lm~- Hubbard, seconded by ~11 and carried. <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />Fire Alarm panel <br /> <br />A tabulation of bids w~s presented for the furnishing of one Form "4" 10-circuit <br /> <br />Type "A" Fire Alarm Panel, Specification 634-~ as follows: Total <br /> The Gamewall Company ~-~8.g4 Cashiers Check $950.00 <br /> B & B ~ineering Corporation 4,732.85 lO~ bid bond <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~!m~ Hubbard, seconded by N~1! and carried, the bid of The <br /> <br />Gamewell Company, being the best and lowest bid, was acceptsd~in the total ~,ount <br /> <br />of $8,308.94, the other bid rejected and communicationSfrc~ the City of Vancouver, <br /> <br />Washington, City of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the City of Riverside, California, <br /> <br />Hearing protests or <br />objections against the <br />assessment for improve- <br />ment of Delhi Road et al <br />Assess. Dist. No. 197 <br />Reso. 58-282 confirming <br />assessment <br /> <br />ware ordered filed. Councilman Gould voted "No" on the motion. <br />"Vice <br />Th~ Mayor announced this is the time and place for hearing protests or objections <br /> <br />against the assess,~nt levied for the improvement of Delhi Road and other streets, <br />in Assessment District No. 197 and asked the Clerk if she was in possession of the <br />affidavit of publication, affidavit of mailing and affidavit of posting. The <br />Clerk stated she had the affidavits, and on motion of Councilm~n Hubbard, seconded <br /> <br />by Gould and carried, the affidavits were received and filed. The Vice-Mayor asked <br /> <br />the Clerk if she had received any written protests or objections against the <br />assessment or ngainst the improvement as constructed or against the proceedings. <br /> <br /> <br />
