EJC:nr <br />2/20/79 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 79- 38 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AMENDING SECTION 3 OF RESOLUTION <br />NO. 58-281, AS ~2~IENDED, TO CHANGE THE SALARY <br />COMPENSATION LEVEL ASSIGNED TO THE CLASS OF <br />ASSISTANT CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on Noven~ber 3, 1958, the City Council passed <br />and adopted Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing <br />the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers and employees of the <br />City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended <br />said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 78-105 <br />on August 21, 1978, increasing the level of salary compensation <br />assigned to the class of Assistant City Attorney in consideration <br />for the assignment of additional duties and responsibilities to <br />said class during the period of time the City Attorney serves in <br />a dual capacity as Acting City Manager-City Attorney; and <br /> <br /> hqiEREAS, on February 20, 1979, the City Council appointed <br />a City Manager and relieved the City Attorney of the dual capacity. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br />That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, <br />is hereby further amended by changing the level of <br />salary compensation assigned to the class title of <br />Assistant City Attorney (MM) from a single, flat <br />rate of $3,000.00 per month, to Salary Range Number <br />501 ($2402-2921); and <br /> <br /> after February 20, 1979. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 20th day of <br />by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: COUNCILMEN: Brandt, <br /> NOES: COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />That this Resolution shall be operative from and <br /> <br /> February , 1979, <br /> <br />Bricken, Evans, Garthe, <br /> 0rtiz, Ward, Yamam0to <br /> <br /> ABSENT <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COU~ILf <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br /> MAYOR <br /> <br />APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> <br />KEITH L.
