RESOLUTION NO. 79-]62 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF EVIDENCE <br />AND PROPERTY CLERK TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION AND <br />PAY PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on Nove~ber 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Reso- <br />lution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan <br />for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br />classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations <br />and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new classification to the City's <br />Classification and Pay Plan and to allocate it to an appropriate salary rate <br />range. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of R~solution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br /> a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the class title of <br />EVIDENCE AND PROPERTY CLERK; and <br /> <br /> b. Assigning, in accordance with the recently adopted two-year <br />salary adjustment plan, said new class to the salary rate ranges on the ef- <br />fective dates as next herein set out: <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Monthly Salary Rate Range <br />No. Minimum - Maximum <br /> <br />September 1, 1979 <br />July 1, 1980 <br /> <br />333 $1059 $1288 <br />347 $1134 $1379 <br /> <br /> 2.
