Burnette requested that the City street numbering system be inaugurated as soon as possi01e. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, tim Director of Public ~orks was in- structed to expedite street numoer changes in accordance with City numoers and, if necessary, to recommend street name changes if similar to other ~erit salary increases streets in the City. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Hall and carrieds the request of the Manager was approved for budget appropriation changes in the sum of $1,OOO.OO from Fund 23-278 to Fund 23-27?; the sum of ~00.00 from Fund ll-~2 to Fund 11-521; the sum of $600.00 from Unappropriated monies in Notice of Recission T. F. Randle, dr. Capital Cutlay Fund &to. 51 to Fund 23-279; and the sum of $8,000.00 from Fund ~6-578 to Fund 26-573. The ~ayor declared that the Notice of Recission signed by Thomas Franklin Randle, Jr. of transfer of property located on the west side of N~th Main Street, south of Santa Clara ~venue, to the City November 6, 1957, be taken Reso. No. 59-163 Estab. No Parking Raitt Street near Edinger ~treet off calendar. . The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Rssolution, on motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the follo~ing.Resoluti~ entitled: ~Resolution No. 59-163 concerting parking limitations and curb markings in accordance therewith~ installing "No Parking at any Tim~* signs on the east side of Raitt Street between Edinger street and a point 1,516 feet south of the center line of Iastructions- Planning Department Edinger Street, as recommended' by'~e Department of Public ~iorks, was con- sidered and passed by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen Rayal ~.
