<br /> persons requesting the City Council to do ,11 things necessary to provide sanitary
<br /> sewer main and laterals within the public right-of-way to serve all the n~bered lots
<br /> in Tract No. 1298, on property located west of Earbor Boulevard het~een Sugar Avenue
<br /> an~ Smeltzer Avenue, in Assessment District No. 206, and a~wising that the petition
<br /> was ~hecke~l and it ~s found that it had less tb~n 60~ of the ownership of the area
<br /> involved, to form an Asses~nt District. On motion of Councilman Eubbard, seconded
<br /> by Gould and carrie~, the ~ication was received, filed and the Clerk instructed
<br /> to notify the first signer on the petition that there ~ insufficient signatures
<br /> to form an Assessment District.

<br /> On recommendation of the Department of Public Works and on motion of Counc~]m~
<br /> Hubbard, seconded by N~I 1 and carried, the request of Freeway Machine Shop was grante~
<br /> for a 36-foot driveway at 1BSB Santiago Avenue.

<br /> On motion of Counottman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carrie~, the request of The
<br /> Northeast Little League of Santa Aha, Inc., for use of portable bleachers owned by
<br /> the City from July ~gn~ through August 16, 1~59, was granted subject to the Attorney
<br /> checking the Deague's Pablic Liability and Px~perSy~Damage bond to protect the City;
<br /> and the Clerk instructed to advise the League to contact the Police De~nt in
<br /> regard to parking cars on the west side of Grand Avenue frc~ 17th Street to Santa
<br /> Clara Avenue on August lB, 14 and 15, 1959.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Counc~!~ Hubbard, seconded by N-~ and carried, the following Resolution entitled:
