RESOLUTION NO. 80-59 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE CLASS <br />TITLE OF PLAM EXAMINER TO PLAN EXAMINER II AND TO ADD <br />THE NEW CLASS TITLE OF PLAN EXAMINER I <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolu- <br />tion No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for <br />all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classi- <br />fication and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the <br />approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to change the title of an existing class and to <br />add a new class title to the City's Classification and Pay Plan: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by: <br /> <br />a. Changing the class title of Plan Examiner to PI~kN EXAMINER II; and <br /> <br /> b. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the class title of PLAN <br />EXAMINER I; and <br /> <br /> c. Assigning, in accordance with the current two-year salary adjust- <br />ment plan, the new class of Plan Examiner I to the salary rate ranges on the <br />effective dates as next herein set out: <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Monthly Salary Rate Range <br />No. Minimum - Maximum <br /> <br />April 1, 1980 417 $1596 - $1940 <br />July 1, 1980 431 $1708 - $2076 <br /> <br />2.
