RESOLUTION N0.80-63 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO PROVIDE <br />SALARY ADJUSTMENTS FOR THREE ENGINEERING CLASSIFI- <br />CATIONS AND TO DESIGNATE THE CLASS OF TRAFFIC ENGI- <br />NEERING SUPERVISOR AS UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolu- <br />tion No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for <br />all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position class- <br />ification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the <br />approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to properly recognize and compensate for the impact on <br />three management-level engineering positions of substantially increased responsi- <br />bilities related primarily to the greater expanded role of transportation plann- <br />ing and engineering functions within the City structure; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by: <br /> <br /> a. Designating the class of Traffic Engineering Supervisor as Unrepre- <br />sented Middle-Management by adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next to follow- <br />ing the class title. <br /> <br />2.
