RESOLUTION NO. 80-71 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANAAMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD <br />SEVERAL CLASS TITLES TO THE CITY'S BASIC CLASSI- <br />FICATION AND COMPENSATION PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation <br />Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> krHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add several new classes to said Basic Classifica- <br />tion and Compensation Plan for the purpose of classifying certain "contract" positions <br />and reclassifying certain other positions authorized and included in he current annual <br />budget accounts pertaining to Redevelopment Agency, Community Development and Economic <br />Development Funds and Activities. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by: <br /> <br /> a.
