RESOLUTION NO. 80-108 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE bASS TITLE OF <br />RISK MANAGERAND TO DESIGNATE SAID NEW CLASS AS UNREPRE- <br />SENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation <br />Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifi- <br />cation and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval <br />of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to establish a new single-position classification <br />in the Office of the City Manager for the purpose of administering and coordinating <br />a centralized comprehensive risk management and loss-control program for the City of <br />Santa Aha and to allocate said new class title to an appropriate level of compensa- <br />tion. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by: <br /> <br />a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class title of Risk <br />Manager at Salary Rate Range No. 477, $2139-$2600, effective July 1, 1980. <br /> <br />b. Designating said new class as Unrepresented Middle-Management by <br />adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next to following the class title. <br /> <br />2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after July 1, 1980. <br /> <br />ADOPTED, this 16th day of June , 1980 by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Bricken, Griset, Luxembourge~ Markel, Serrato, Yamamoto <br /> <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: Ward <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CITY ATTORNEY ~_~ <br /> <br /> <br />
