RESOLUTION NO. 80-109 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO DELETE ONE TITLE, <br />ADD ONE TITLE AND CHANGE TWO TITLES INVOLVING CLASSES <br />OF POSITIONS ASSIGNED TO THE CITY'S PRENTICE PARK ZOO <br />OPERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation <br />Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifi- <br />cation and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval <br />of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to delete an unused class title and implement <br />several revisions to the classifications of positions assigned to the City's Prentice <br />Park Zoo operation as provided for in the current annual budget. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by: <br /> <br /> a. Deleting the class title of Zoo Curator. <br /> <br /> b. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class title of Zoo <br /> Attendant I at Salary Range No. 280, $818-$994. <br /> <br /> c. Changing the titles of the existing classes of Zoo Keeper and Zoo <br /> Attendant to Associate Zoo Curator and Zoo Attendant II, respectively, <br /> at no change in salary level. <br /> <br /> 2.
