RESOLUTION NO. 80-121 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE TITLE OF SENIOR <br />TRANSPORTATION PLANNER AND TO DESIGNATE SAID NEW CLASS AS <br />UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958 the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281, revising and reestablishing the basic compensation <br />plans for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article × of the City Charter of the City <br />of Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install, and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said <br />Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to properly provide for the increased manage- <br />ment level Transportation Engineering responsibilities as related to the <br />greatly expanded role of Transportation Planning within the City of Santa Ana; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br />a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class <br />title of Senior Transportation Planner at Salary Rate Range <br />No. 482, $2190-$2663, effective July 7, 1980. <br /> <br />b. Designating said new class as Unrepresented Middle-Management <br />by adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next to <br />the class title. <br /> <br /> 2.
