REL:adg 8/25/80 RESOLUTION NO. 80-146 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA PROHIBITING PARKING FOR STREET CLEANING PURPOSES ON THE STREETS IN THE AREA BETWEEN FIRST STREET, MCFADDEN AVENUE, FAIRVIEW STREET AND BRISTOL STREET WHEREAS, California Vehicle Code Section 22507 enables local authorities to prohibit parking of vehicles on certain streets during certain hours of the day; and WHEREAS, Santa Aha Municipal Code Section 36-132 enables the Council to prohibit parking on any street within the City during certain hours of the day; and WHEREAS, the City Council on July 21, 1980, approved a six-month pilot street cleaning program in the area bounded by First street on the north, McFadden Avenue on the south, Fairview Street on the west, and Bristol Street on the East; and WHEREAS, the prohibition of parking during the hours of street cleaning on the streets within the pilot area is necessary to implement this program; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AS FOLLOWS: 1. There shall be no parking between 6:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month on both sides of the streets in the City of Santa Ana within the following described exterior boundary line: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Raitt Street with prolongation of the south property line of First Street, thence easterly on the south property line of First Street to its intersection with the west property line of Bristol Street; Thence southerly on the west property line of Bristol Street to its intersection with the centerline of McFadden Avenue; Thence westerly on the centerline of McFadden Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Raitt Street; Thence northerly on the centerline of Raitt Street to its intersection with a prolongation of the south property line of First Street and the point of beginning. 2. There shall be no parking between 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of each month on both sides of the streets in the City of Santa Ana within the following described exterior boundary line: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Raitt Street with a prolongation of the south property line of First Street, thence southerly on the centerline of Raitt Street to its intersection with the centerline of McFadden Avenue;
