RESOLUTION NO. 80-159 <br /> <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AN <br />AMENDMENT OF THE JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS <br />AGREEMENT FOR ORANGE COUNTY MANPOWER COMMISSION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on February 4, 1974, the City Council <br />approved the participation of the City of Santa Ana in the <br />Orange County Manpower Commission and authorized the Mayor <br />to execute a Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for Orange <br />County Manpower Commission, which Agreement was executed <br />February 25, 1974, and thereafter amended; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Title 29, United States Code, Chapter 17, <br />Section 825(f), provides that Comprehensive Employment and <br />Training Programs administrative costs may be pooled so that <br />they may be used to administer all programs under Chapter <br />17; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Title 20, Code of Federal Regulations, <br />Part 676.40 provides that funds available for administration <br />shall be pooled under a separate subpart of an Annual Plan <br />and used to cover all allowable administrative costs incurred <br />under the Annual Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to continue <br />the participation of the City in the Orange County Manpower <br />Commission through September 30, 1981, including pooling of <br />administrative costs to insure that all operational adminis- <br />trative costs are reimbursed. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Aha that said Council approves that <br />certain "Amemdment of Joint Exercise of Powers Agreement for <br />Orange County Manpower Commission," a copy of which is on <br />file in the Office of the Clerk of the Council, and the <br />Mayor is authorized to execute said agreement on behalf of <br />the City of Santa Ana. <br /> <br /> ADOPTED, this 15th <br />1980, by the following vote: <br /> <br />day of September , <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, <br /> Ward, Yamamoto <br />COUNCILMEN: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Bricken, Serrat0 <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> RK OF TH~-COU~CIL <br />~A~PPROVED AS TO FORM:~ <br /> <br />EDWARD J. ~OP R~ <br />CITY ATTORNEY <br /> <br /> <br />
