EJC:adg <br />12/28/81 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82- 1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DECLARING ITS <br />INTENTION TO VACATE A PORTION OF <br />SYCAMORE STREET BETWEEN THIRD STREET <br />AND FOURTH STREET, SETTING A PUBLIC <br />HEARING THEREON, AND DIRECTING NOTICE <br />THEREOF TO BE POSTED AND PUBLISHED. <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. Pursuant to and in accordance with Chapter 3 <br />of Part 3, of DivisiQn 9 of the Street and Highways Code of <br />the State of California, this Council does hereby declare <br />its intention to vacate that certain portion of Sycamore <br />Street, and all public service easements therein, located <br />between Third Street and Fourth Street, as described on <br />"Exhibit A," attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference. <br /> <br /> 2. Notice is hereby given that at the hour of <br />7:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard <br />on February 1, 1982, in the Council Chambers of the City of <br />Santa Ana, 20 Civic Center Plaza, Santa Aha, California, a <br />public hearing will be held by this Council at which time <br />any and all persons interested in or objecting to the <br />proposed vacation hereinabove described may appear and be <br />heard. <br /> <br /> 3. The Clerk of the Council is hereby directed <br />to cause this Resolution to be published twice, once in each <br />of the two successive weeks prior to the abovesaid hearing, <br />in "The Register," a newspaper of general circulation in the <br />City. <br /> <br /> 4. The Director of Public Works is hereby <br />directed to post conspicuously, in the manner prescribed by <br />law, notice of the adoption of this Resolution, containing <br />the statement of the day, hour and place of hearing <br /> <br /> <br />
