RESOLUTION NO. 81-57 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF <br />FLEET SERVICES MANAGER AND TO DESIGNATE SAID NEW CLASS AS <br />UNREPRESENTED MIDDLE-MANAGEMENT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classifi- <br />cation and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval <br />of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to further amend said Basic Classification and <br />Compensation Plan by adding a new middle-management class to replace the out-dated <br />class of Equipment Maintenance Superintendent. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br /> amended by: <br /> <br /> a. Adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the new class title of FLEET <br /> SERVICES MANAGER at Salary Rate Range No. 491, $2288-$2782 per month. <br /> <br /> b. Designating said new class as unrepresented M/ddle-Management by <br /> adding the parenthetical identifier (MM) next to following the class title. <br /> <br /> 2.
