RESOLUTION NO. 81-58 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THREE NEW CLASSES TO <br />THE CIVILIAN FIRE SAFETY SERIES AUTHORIZED IN THE 1980-81 <br />ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FIRE SAFETY BUREAU <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all officers <br />and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana <br />requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification <br />and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and the approval of the <br />City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEP. EAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to complete the career-ladder series of civilian <br />(non-firefighting) fire safety classes initiated several years ago for the purpose <br />of restructuring and ¢ivilianizing the Fire Safety Bureau in accordance with the <br />City's Fire Protection Master Plan. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class titles at <br />the salary rate ranges as next thereto set out: <br /> <br />Class Title <br /> <br />Salary Rate Range <br /> <br />Fire Safety Specialist II <br />Fire Safety Specialist III <br />Fire Safety Analyst <br /> <br />No. 366, $1245 - $1513 <br />No. 412, 1557 - 1892 <br />No. 433, 1725 - 2097 <br /> <br />2.
