Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen None <br /> <br />Communication was presented from the Planning Department recommending approval of <br />Preliminary Record of Survey No. 177, filed by Max Zimmer, creating two parcels, <br />located on the west side of Bristol Street, between St. Gertrude Place aud Delhi <br />Road, subject to conditions. Peter Schabarum, 113 W. College Street, Covina, state~ <br />he is the purchaser of one of the parcels now in escrow, Jointly with the Alpha Beta <br />Market, and objected to the condition with reference to the street improvements, <br />inasmuch as they have been made. ch Bristol Street and St. Gertrude Place, as they <br />apply to his particular parcel, but not along Bristol Street fronting the portion <br />owned by Max Zimmer, which is southerly of the Market. On motion of Councilman <br />Heinly, seconded by Gould and carried, Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 177 was <br />approved, subject to the following conditions: (a) That a Final Record of Survey <br />Map be recorded; (b) That the Final Map and all improvements be required to be made <br />or installed by the subdivider shall be in accordance with the design standards and <br />specifications of the Santa Ana Municipal Code; (c) That the subdivider's engineer <br />furnish the Department of Public Works a runoff study based on a storm of a ten-year <br />frequency; this study to show existing and proposed facilities and method of drainin <br />this area without exceeding the capacity of any street, on site or off site; (d) <br />That all drainage easements shall conform in width and alignment to City design <br />standards, as determined by the rUnoff study; (e) That Bristol Street be improved <br />in accordance with the design standards and specifications of the Municipal Code, <br />as follows: (1) On the northerly ~00 feet; (2) That the applicant, Max Zimmer, <br />enter into an agreement to improve the 522.86 feet southerly of the northerly ~00 <br />feet, and that improvements be made prior to the issuance of any building permit, <br />and that said agreement be in proper form for recording: (f) That the subdivider <br />submit street improvement plans for Bristol Street; (g) That a completion assurance <br />bond be filed for the improvement of the 522.86 feet in lieu of the heretofore re- <br />ferred agreement; (h) That sidewalks be placed on frontages where sidewalks do not <br />exist, and that said agreement as heretofore mentioned and assurance bond be filed <br />and approved before Final Map is filed. <br /> <br />On motic~ of Council,~u Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, proper officials <br />were authorized to execute agreement with Garden Grove School District, making <br />available to the City certain playground areas and school facilities, in accordance <br />with their policies and schedules, with certain provisions provided for by the City, <br />for conducting Community Recreational Program. <br /> <br />It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Heinly and carried, that Escrow <br />Instructions No. 4514B-F, dated August ~, 1960, be approved and signed with Henry <br />Angelsen for property on the southeast corner of Eighth and Garnsey Streets, for <br />Civic Center site, in the sum of $1S,075.00. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> <br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Beinly and carried, the following Resolution entitle <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-158 accepting deeds where the City is <br /> paying cash consideration" <br /> <br />frc~ Henry Angelsen, for property on the southeast corner of 8th and Garnsey Streets <br /> <br />for Civic Center site, in the sum of $1S,075~00; and from S.N.S.Builders, a Joint ye <br /> <br /> <br />
