RESOLUTION N0.81-138 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING THE CITY'S BASIC COMPENSATION AND PAY PLAN TO ADD <br />THE CLASS TITLE OF SECURITY GUARD-MUSEUM IN ORDER TO CLASSIFY <br />NEW POSITIONS AUTHORIZED IN THE 1981-82 ANNUAL BUDGET FOR <br />THE CITY OF SANTAANA BOWER'S MUSEUM DEPARTMENT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation <br />Plan for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a posi- <br />tion classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations <br />and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the adoption of the Annual Budget for 1981-82, the City <br />Council authorized the addition of several security guard positions in the <br />Bower's Museum Department; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add a new class title to the City's <br />Basic Classification and Pay Plan in order to properly classify the said new <br />positions assigned to the Museum Department. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Aha: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended is hereby <br />further amended by adding, in proper alphabetical sequence, the class title <br />of SECURITY GUARD-MUSEUM at Salary Rate Range No. 347, $1134 - $1379 per <br />month. <br /> <br />2.
