Council Chamber <br />Santa gna City Hall <br />September 6, 1960 <br /> <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />City Council met in regular session. <br />Meeting called to order by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Present: Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall <br /> <br />Absent: Councilmen Stanley C. Gould~ Jr., Dale H. Heinly <br /> <br />The Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Reverend Glenn E. McFarland, Reformed Presbyterian Church. <br /> <br />Each member of the City Council having received copies of the Minutes of <br />August 15, 1960 and August 22, 1960, reading of the Minutes was dispensed <br />with and approved on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and <br />carried. <br /> <br /> Councilman Gould arrived at the meeting at 7:33 P.M. <br /> <br /> A tabulation of bids was presented for the furnishing and delivering of estimated <br /> annual requirements of Cast Iron Rubber Gasket Jointed ~ater Pipe in 12", 8", and <br /> <br />6" sizes, Specification No. 481-17, as follows: <br /> Item 1 Item 2 Item 3 <br /> 35,000 ft. 30,000 ft. 50,000 ft. <br /> 12" 8" 6" <br />Pacific States Cast Iron Pipe Co. $176,221.50 $~9,~00.00 <br /> <br />169,~00.00 86,550.00 <br /> <br />Bid acceptance <br />~ater Pipe <br />Est~m~tedAnnual <br />Requirements <br /> <br />United States Pipe and Foundry Co. <br /> <br />$92,170.00 <br />102,250.00 <br /> <br />The Manager reported that on opening the bids~ a representative of the Pacific <br /> <br />.States Cast Iron Pipe Company stated a clerical error was made in cmitting the <br /> <br /> <br />
