<br /> Creek Bridge,/ It was moved by Councilman Gould that the motion be amended that if
<br />
<br /> the City procures the necessary right-of-way north of the Santiago Creek Bridge
<br /> within 150 days, the entire project would be constructed at an approximate cost of
<br /> $170,785.50, and at the unit prices bid, and if the right-of-way is not procured
<br /> within that time, the project would be terminated at Station 91+20 at the north
<br /> of Santiago Creek Bridge and the cost of the project would still be at the unit
<br /> prices bid with an approximate total of $1~,608.40. Motion carried.

<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the communication
<br />fr~n the Planning Commission was received and filed recommending approval of pro-
<br />posed annexation to the City of territory designated "Bristol and Memory Lane N.
<br />Annex," consisting of approximately 19.22 acres, located on the north side of
<br />Memory Lane, on both sides of Bristol Street.

<br />The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of
<br />Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the fo]lowing Resolution entitle
<br />
<br /> "Resolution No. 60-166 initiating proceedings for annexation of
<br /> territory to the City of Santa Ana, designating an appropriate
<br /> name of 'Bristol and Memory Lane N. Annex' for said territory
<br /> and giving notice of protest hearing thereon"
<br />
<br />and setting hearing date on October 17, 1960, was considered and Passed by the
<br />following vote:
<br />
<br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Bob Brewer,
<br />Noes, Councilmen None
<br />Absent, Councilmen Dale H. ~einly
<br />
<br />Planning Resolution No. 5960 was presented from the Planning Commission recommend-
<br />tng that the Zoning Administrator procedure be instituted, as set forth in the new
<br />Zoning ~rdinance, insofar as it relates to Variances, subject to the administrator'
<br />oMn Judgment as to which of those Variances involves policy and should be referred
<br />back to the Planning Commission, and which of those Variances would be of
<br />significance and importance to the community or area to warrant a hearing before
<br />the Planning Co~m~ission. The Zoning Administrator shall conduct hearings on re.
<br />for temporary directional signs, as permitted by Conditional Use Permit, effective
<br />October l, 1960. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried,

<br />as provided for and set out in the Land-Use Ordinance of 1960, was considered and
<br />passed by the following vote:

<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, Tentative Tract
<br />No. B932, filed by Greschner-Rabec Company, creating 27 parcels located on the
<br />side of First Street between Townsend and Sullivan Streets, was approved, subject
<br />to conditions.
<br />
<br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried~ the following
<br />Final Maps were approved:
<br />
<br /> Final Map of Tract No. 1907, filed by M~cco Corporation, for dedication of St.
<br />Andrew Place, Carlton Place, Glenwood Place, Artesia Street and Forest Avenue as
<br />shown for public use for highway purposes, and all vehicular access rights to lots
<br />
