RESOLUTION N0.81-170 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO ADD THE CLASS TITLE OF <br />WATER DIVISION CLERK-DISPATCHER TO THE CITY'S BASIC <br />CLASSIFICATION AND PAY PLAN. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution <br />No. 48-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Compensation Plan for all <br />officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa <br />Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classi- <br />fication and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the <br />approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, with the adoption of the 1981-82 Annual Budget for the Water <br />Utility Division of the Public Works Department, City Council authorized the funds <br />to effect the upgrading of a clerical position to a new, higher-level clerical <br />class title at an appropriate salary level. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby further <br />amended by adding the class title of WATER DIVISION CLERK-DISPATCHER and assigning <br />it to the following salary adjustment schedule: <br /> <br /> Effective Date <br />10-1-81 7-1-82 1-1-83 <br /> <br />Salary Range Number 328 340 346 <br /> <br />2.
