Stroud et al <br /> <br />Map of Tract No.3775 <br />Hunny Investment Co. <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br /> Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Resolution en- <br /> titled: <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-190 approving map and declaring intention <br /> to vacate a portion of Riverine Street between a point 150 <br /> feet north of Eighth Street and Tenth Street" <br /> <br /> as recommended by Planning Cc~issior~ with the exception that at the southerly endl <br /> of the portion to be a b and~ed the County construct a cul-de-sac "turn-around" <br /> maneuvering space for vehicles used in connection with public activities on parcel <br /> fronting on the remaining portions of Riverine Street, immediately south of the <br /> proposed abandonment, and setting the date of hearing on December 5, 1960, was <br /> considered and passed by the following vote: <br /> <br /> Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Bob Brewer, <br /> A. A. Hall <br /> Noes, Councilmen None <br /> Absent, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the communication <br /> from the Planning Commission recommending approval of proposed annexation to the <br /> City of territory designated "Delhi and Raitt - S.E. Annex," located on the south <br /> side of Delhi Road, approximately 201 feet west of the flood control channel, and <br /> consisting of 19.304 acres, was received, filed, and the matter continued until <br /> October 17, 1960. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilm~n Eubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the communication <br /> frnm the Planning Commission recommending approval to vacate a strip of land four- <br /> teen feet wide running northerly from First Street, west of Townsend Street, which <br /> has been a public sewer easement, was received and filed. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Pre- <br /> liminary Record of Survey Maps were approved: <br /> <br /> Preliminary Record of Survey No. 182, filed by Supreme Investment Company, <br /> creating two parcels located north of the extension of Wisteria Place and along th~ <br /> west side of the S.P.R.R., subject to conditions; and <br /> <br /> Preliminary Record of Survey No. 184, filed by King Medical Group, creating <br />two parcels located 620 feet east of Bristol Street, on the south side of Delhi <br />Road, subject to conditions. <br />" <br />C~m~unication was presented from the Planning Commission recommending approval of <br />Prel~m~uary Record of Survey Map No. 181, filed by P. C. Stroud et al, creating <br />and combining two parcels located 660 feet south of Bolsa Avenue, on the west side' <br />of Verano Street, subject to conditions. Richard Brown, Civil ~ineer, 7632 W. <br />Cc~monwealth Avenue, Buena Park, representing the Hunny Investment Come, any, stated <br />that the property described in Preliminary Record of Survey Map No. 181 is within <br />Tract No. 3775, and that with the exception of conditions c, e, and g, the condi- <br />tions as imposed are agreeable to his client. On motion of CounciLman Gould, <br />seconded by Hubbard and carried, Prelim~Record of Survey Map No. lB1 was <br />approved, subject to conditions (a) and (b), and on condition (c) Verano Street be <br />improved to the design standards and specifications of the Santa Aha Municipal Code <br />on that portion of Verano Street heretofore required to be improved; (d) That the <br />Subdivider submit street improvement plans for Verano Street; (e) Owner dedicate <br /> <br /> 52 feet of right-of-way west of the center line of Verano Street on 280.44 feet on <br /> <br /> conditior~s. <br /> She northeast portion of the tract abutting Verano Street, and subject to all other/ <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, Map of Tract No. <br />3775, filed by Hunny Investment Company, for dedication to public use for street <br />purposes Lucky Way, Melric Drive, Cooper Street, Deming Street, Maxine Street, <br />Hurley Street and Verano Street, and all vehicular access rights to Verano Street <br /> <br /> <br />
