RESOLUTION NO. 81-190 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO <br />CORRECT THE TWO-YEAR SALARY SCHEDULE ASSIGNED TO <br />THE CLASS OF ASSISTANT CLERK OF THE COUNCIL BY <br />RESOLUTION 81-139. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281, revising and reestablishing the Basic Compensation Plan <br />for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 17, 1981, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 81-139, amending Resolution 58-281 to provide a new compensation <br />plan for management personnel including salary adjustment schedules for fiscal <br />years 1981-82 and 1982-83; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, when converting from the previous 5-Step pay range to the <br />3-Step pay range set forth in the new Management Compensation Plan, staff inad- <br />vertently assigned the class of Assistant Clerk of the Council to the wrong <br />salary schedule; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to correct the error and adjust the initial <br />and future salary rate ranges assigned to said class to reflect the ranges that <br />had originally been intended for assignment to the class. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha that Section 3 of Resolution No. 48-281, as amended by Resolution No. 81-139, <br />is hereby further amended by changing the several salary rate ranges assigned to <br />the class title of Assistant Clerk of the Council to read as next herein set out: <br /> <br />Effective Dates of Adjustment <br /> <br />7-1-81 7-1-82 1-1-83 <br /> <br />SalaryRate Range Number: 450 462 472 <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That this Resolution shall be operative from <br />and after July 1, 1981. <br /> <br /> ADOPTE~D this 2nd day of November <br />following vote: <br /> <br />., 1981, by the <br /> <br />AYES: <br /> <br />NOES: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Acosta, Griset, Luxembourger, Markel, <br /> McGuigan, Serrato <br />None <br /> <br />ABSENT: <br /> <br />COUNCILMEMBERS: <br /> <br />Bri cken <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
