RESOLUTION N0.81~199 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA <br />ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 58-281 TO CHANGE THE CLASS <br />TITLE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR (MM) TO <br />ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT-COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (MM) <br />AND TO INCREASE THE ASSIGNED SALARY LEVEL OF THE CLASS. <br /> <br /> WHERMAS, on November 3, 1958, the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 58-281, revising and re-establishing the Basic Co~pensation Plan <br />for all officers and employees of the City of Santa Aha; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Aha requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position <br />classification and pay plan subject to Civil Service Rules and Regulations and <br />the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the nature, scope and responsibilities of the single-position <br />class of Community Development Coordinator (MM) have been significantly expanded <br />to include major administrative staff work in the Department of Co~uunity <br />Development; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to provide a level of remuneration and a class <br />title commensurate with the assigned duties and responsibilities of the class. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 58-281, as amended, is hereby <br />further amended by: <br /> <br /> a. Changing the class title of Community Development Coordinator <br />(MM) to ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT (MM). <br /> <br /> b. Assigning the retitled class to the following two-year <br />management compensation adjustment schedule: <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />Salary Rate Range <br /># (Min-}~x) <br /> <br />January 1, 1982 <br />July 1, 1982 <br />January 1, 1983 <br /> <br />491 ($2288-2782) <br />512 ($2536-3082) <br />522 ($2663-3237) <br /> <br />2.
