Council Chamber Santa Aha City Hall November 9, 1960 5:00 P.M. City Council met in adjourned regular session. Neeting ~11ed to Orde~by the Mayor. Present: Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall Absent: Councilmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly Affidavit of Publication Notice of Intention to Circulate Petition "Fairhaven and Esplanade West Annex" Reso. No. 60-229 Acknowledging receipt ~f Notice of Intention tO circulate petition. "Fairhaven' and E~plan- adc West Annex" On motion of CounciLman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the Affidavit of Publication of NOtice of Intention to Circulate Petition for annexation of territory to the City of Santa Ana, California, designated "Fairhaven and Esplanade West Annex," was received and filed. The Council having nnanlmously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 6.0-229 acknowledging the receipt of a copy of Notice of Intention to ~irculate Petition For Annexa- tion of TerritOry to Santa Ana, accompanying statement and Affidavit of Publication thereof and approving the circulation of the petition" of certain territory designated "Fairhaven and Esplanade West Annex," was con- sidered and passed by the following vote: Instructions "01d Library Site" Fifth and Sycamore Sts. Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall Noes, Councilmen None Absent, COuncilmen Stanley C. Gould, Jr., Dale H. Heinly It was moved by Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and carried, that Escrow Instructions dated November 8, 1960, be approved and signed with Lincoln Savings and Loan Association for the sale of the Old Library site located at the north- Res o. No. 60 -230 Authorize execution of deed "Old Library Site", Fifth and Sycamore Sts. west corner of Fifth and Sycamore Streets~ in the' sum of $101,700.00. Councilman Heinly arrived at 5:05 P.M. The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Brewer and Carried, the following Resolution entitled: "Resolution No. 60-230 authorizing execution of deed after public sale of 'Old Library Site'" to Lincoln Savings and Loan AssociatiOn, a California Corporation, was and passed by the following vote: A~es, Councilmen Noes, Councilmen Absent, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer, A. A. Hall None Stanley C. Gould~ Jr.
