Annex" <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Hearing <br />"Twentieth and <br /> Lyon Annex" <br />Ordinance <br /> <br />Communication <br />Planning Con~nission <br />North Broadway <br />Law Building <br /> <br />Communicat ion <br />Planning C(xamis s ion <br />Vacate portion <br />North Garnsey St. <br /> <br />Reso.No. 60-262 <br />Declare intention <br />vacate portion <br />North Garnsey St. <br />(set hearing date) <br /> <br /> Communi cat ion <br />!i Planning CGEnission <br />iVacate portions <br />~.~McFadden Ave. west of <br />Fairview Street <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing protests to change the boundary lines of Wards <br />as required by Section 101.2 of the Charter, and there being no protests, ~n motion <br />of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance changing and establishing the boundary lines of the <br /> Wards of the City of Santa Aha as required by Section lO1.2 <br /> of the Charter" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the annexation of property consisting of <br />approximately 20 acres, extending approximately 1400 feet south of Delhi Road and <br />a short distance north of Delhi Road, approximately 203 feet west of the County <br />Flood Control Channel; no protests were received and the hearing was closed. On <br />motl~a of Counc~ 1man Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinanc~ <br />entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory <br /> designated 'Delhi and Raitt S. E. Annex'" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br />This being the date set for hearing on the annexation of property consisting of <br />approximately ten meres and located on the east side of Wright Street, beginning at~ <br />a point 528 feet north of the intersection of center lines of Seventeenth and Wrigh~ <br /> north 527.73 feet and east approximately 830.67 feet; no protest~ <br />Streets, <br /> extending <br /> <br />were received and the hearing was closed. On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconde( <br />by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance entitled: <br /> <br /> "Ordinance declaring the annexation of that certain territory <br /> designated 'Twsntieth and Lyon Annex'" <br /> <br />was introduced, considered and placed on file for second remding. <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould aud carried, action was continue~ <br />until January 3, 1961, on c~.unication fr~m the Planning Co~,ission rec~,ending <br />that the parking requirements be waived on the addition of office space in the base. <br />ment of the 811 North Broadway Law Building, reference affidavit signed by M. S. <br />Bernard, President, North Broadwey Law Building, requesting that the parking requi~- <br />ment be waived, as provided in the C-3 Central Business Districtl <br /> <br />On motion of Counc~lm-n G(~ld, seconded by Hubbard and carried, e(~mmunication from <br />the Planning C~mfssion was received and filed recommending approval of the propose~ <br />abandonment of that portion of North Garnsey Street commencing with the southerly <br />boundary of Seventeenth Street and running southerly therefro~ 120 feet, excepting <br />therefrc~ the northerly ten feet. <br /> <br />The Council having unanimously w~ived the reading of the Resolution, on motion of <br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Resolution entitle~ <br /> <br /> "Resolution No. 60-262 approving map and declaring intention to <br /> vacate a portion of North Garnsey Street, south of Seventeenth <br /> Street" <br /> <br />as petitioned by Salena F. and James B. Tucker, Jr. and Barbara Tucker Lashbrook, <br />and setting the date of hearing on January 16, 1961, was considered and passed by <br />the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen Royal E. Hubbard, Stanley C. Gould, Jr., A. A. Hall <br />Noes, Councilmen None <br />Absent, Councilmen Dale H. Heinly, Bob Brewer <br /> <br />On motion of Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the communication <br />from the Planning Co~m~ission was received and filed recommending approval of <br /> <br /> <br />
