EJC:ar <br />3/1u/82 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-40 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br /> OF SANTA ANA FIXING AND ESTABLISHING THE <br />COMPENSATION FOR THE OFFICE OF CITY ATTORNEY <br /> OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, AND REPEALING <br /> RESOLUTIONS INCONSISTENT THEREWITH <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana: <br /> <br /> I. That the salary for the office of the City Attorney <br />of the City of Santa Ana is hereby fixed and established at <br />the salary rate in the City of Santa Ana Salary Schedule <br />Matrix on the effective date as herein set forth: <br /> <br />Salary Rate <br /> <br />Effective Date <br /> <br />652 7/1/82 <br /> <br />662 1/1/83 <br /> <br /> 2. That said salary shall be paid in the <br />and at the same time as other monthly salaries <br />are paid. <br /> <br />same manner <br />in the city <br /> <br /> 3. The City Attorney shall be eligible for vacation <br />compensation and bonus considerations in accordance with an <br />evaluation system to be established by the City Council. <br /> <br /> 4. That the city shall pay to the Public Employees' <br />Retirement System on behalf of the City Attorney an amount <br />equal to five percent (5.0%) of the compensation upon which <br />the retirement contributions are calculated. Payment there- <br />of is not an increase in base salary. <br /> <br /> 5. In addition to the salary hereinabove fixed and <br />established for said office, said officer shall receive, as <br />additional compensation, the following employee benefits: <br /> <br />(a) Deferred Compensation <br /> <br /> Said officer shall receive as deferred com- <br />pensation an amount equal to one percent (1%) of <br />his or her monthly salary.
