Cox <br />(Candy Hc~es, Inc. and <br /> Twinoaks Corp.) <br /> <br />Councilman Gould, seconded by Brewer and carried, the following Resolution <br /> <br /> "Resolutiom No. 61-36 concerning parking limitations and curb <br /> markings in accordance therewith" <br /> <br />establishing No Parking Zones on the west side of Sycamore Street between Third <br />and Fourth Streets, between Fourth and Fifth Streets, between Chestnut and Pine <br />Streets, between Pine and WaLnut Streets, and between Fifteenth and Seventeenth <br />Streets, as recommended by the Department of Public Works, was considered and <br />passed by the following vote: <br /> <br />Ayes, Councilmen <br /> <br />Noes, Councilmen <br />Absent, Councilmen <br /> <br />Royal E. Thornton, City Manager, was granted to leave the City to attend the Calif- <br /> with expenses <br /> ornia City Manager's Spring Meeting at Fresno, February 15th through 17th, <br /> <br /> and Hugh H. Foreman, Director of Public Works, was authorized to serve as Acting <br /> City Manager during the M~nager's absence. <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motion of <br /> Councilman Hubbard, seconded by Gould and carried, the following Ordinance <br /> <br /> "Ordinance amending Section 2517 of the Santa ~na Municipal <br /> Code providing compensation for members of the Planning <br /> Commission" <br /> <br />~s~e~mber of the Planning Co~maission shall receive the sam of $20.00 for each <br />regular meeting or adjourned regular meeting of said Planning .Ccmmission which sai <br />member attends; provided, however, that no such member shall be paid more than <br />$40.00 for such attendance at meetings held during any one calendar month, effect- <br />ive 12:00 P.M. on the 31st day of March, 1961, was introduced'~ considered and <br /> <br /> placed on file for second reading. · <br /> <br /> The Council having unanimously waived the reading of the Ordinance, on motior~'of <br /> Councilman Gould, seconded by Hubbard and carried, the following Ordinance <br /> <br /> "Ordinance providing for temporary water and sewer c~nnection <br /> outside of City to area temporarily barred from annexation <br /> by State Statute" <br /> <br /> was introduced, considered and placed on file for second reading. <br /> <br /> On motion of Councilman Heinly, seconded by Hubbard and carried, Map of Tract No. <br /> ~96~, filed by Henry C. Cox, for dedication of Delhi Road, Linda Way, Flora Street <br /> Hall ~venue, Brewer ~venue, Joane Way and Central ~venue, for public use for high- <br /> way purposes, all vehicular access rights to Delhi Road except street intersection: <br /> offer of dedications accepted, and bonds in the sum of $62,366.00 to apply to <br /> <br /> Lots i to 36, inclusive, known as Candy Homes, Inc., and in the sum of $60,6~.00 <br /> to apply to Lots 37 to 71, inclusive, known as Twinoaks Corporation,~ were approved <br /> license fees in the amount of $1,800.00 on Lots 1 through ~6~ inclusive, and <br /> $1,750.00 on Lots 37 to 71, inclusive, were accepted, and agreements covering <br /> provemants ordered signed; als~ Preltmfuary Record of Survey Map No. 202, filed by <br /> Henry C. C~x, creating two parcels located south of Delhi Road and east of Tract <br /> No. 3679, was approved, subject to conditions, waiving condition of Tentative <br /> Tract Map No. B96~, requiring recordation of Record of Survey No. 202 prior to ap- <br /> proval of Final Map of Tract No. ~963, but requiring recordation of Record of <br /> Survey prior to recordati°n of Final Tract Map; also imposing condition in agree- <br /> ments that no building permits will be issued on Lots Nos. 1 and 2 until said lots <br /> <br /> <br />
