165 <br /> <br />Proposed removal of <br />parking North Main St., <br />btn. Santiago Creek <br />Bridge and Owens Drive <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />The Manager recm~ended that the Council take action for the removal of parking <br />on b~bh sides of Main Street, from the Santiago Creek Bridge to Owens Drive, and <br />stated that completion of the construction could be anticipated within a week. <br />Josephine Reilly, 2647 No. Main Street, stated the removal of the parking area in <br />front of her lroperty would create au inconvenience in driving off and onto her <br />property. Dr. Donald E. Lind, owner of the North Main Veterinary Hospital, 2643 <br />No. Main Street, opposed the removal of parking as it would be financially detri- <br />mental to his business, and stated an alternative method should be considered. <br />Lloyd Donelan, 315½ E. Camille Street, in the employ of Dr. Lind, protested the <br />No Parking in front of the Veterinary Hospital, stating this ~ould curtail their <br />business and possibly affect his continued employment. Ruth Guest, 2657 No. Main <br />Street, stated she had dedicated her property and would consider the widening of <br />Main Street if the other residents in the area concurred.
