RESOLUTION NO. 82-148 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AUTHORIZING THE CHIEF <br />OF POLICE TO SUBMIT APPLICATION FOR GRANT <br />FOR SANTA ANA POLICE DEPARTMENT AUTOMATED <br />COURT LIAISON PROJECT <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to undertake a certain <br />project designated the "Santa Ana Police Department Automated Court Liaison <br />Project", to be funded in part from funds made available through State <br />General Funds FY 81/82 as authorized by Chapter 1167 of the 1978 statues for <br />the Career Criminal Apprehension Program, administered by the Office of <br />Criminal Justice Planning (hereafter referred to as O.C.J.P.). <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Chief of Police of <br />the City of Santa Aha is authorized to submit on behalf of the City of <br />Santa Ana the attached application for Grant for Law Enforcement purposes <br />to O.C.J.P. and is authorized to execute on behalf of the City of Santa Ana <br />the attached Grant Award for Law Enforcement purposes including any ex- <br />tensions or amendments thereof. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Santa Ana agrees to <br />provide all matching funds required for said project (including any ex- <br />tension or amendment thereof) under the Santa Ana Police Department Auto- <br />mated Court Liaison Project and the rules and regulations of O.C.J.P. and <br />that cash will be appropriated as required thereby. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Grant Funds received hereunder <br />shall not be used to supplant Law Enforcement expenditures controlled by <br />this body. <br /> <br />ADOPTED THIS 1st day of November , 1982 <br /> <br /> ATTEST: <br /> <br /> nice C.
