REL:adg <br />12/8/82 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 82-169 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA REQUESTING THE <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE TO INCLUDE WITHIN THE <br />ARTERIAL HIGHWAY FINANCING PROGRAM THE <br />DEVELOPMENT OF CERTAIN STREETS WITHIN <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana desires to improve <br />certain streets within the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Articles 2 and 3 of Chapter 9, Division <br />2, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of <br />California authorize a county to expend funds apportioned to <br />it out of the California Highway Users' Tax Fund for aid to <br />any city for the improvement, construction, or repair of <br />streets within such city; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Board of Supervisors of the County of <br />Orange intends to provide in the County budget of the <br />Special Road Improvement Fund for fiscal year i983~4 a sum <br />of money for the improvement of streets within the <br />incorporated cities of the County in accordance with the <br />Orange County Arterial Highway Financing Program; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> That the City of Santa Aha does hereby request the <br />Board of Supervisors of the County of Orange to allocate to <br />the City of Santa Aha in said budget for fiscal year 1983-4, <br />from County funds, the amount of $608,000 for the <br />improvement of certain streets, as follows: <br /> <br />PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> <br />ESTIMATED <br />EXPENDITURES <br /> <br />REQUESTED <br />AHFP FUNDING <br /> <br />FIRST STREET WIDENING - <br />Right-of-Way Santa Ana <br />River to West City Limits <br /> <br />$996,000 $498,000 <br /> <br />MACARTHUR BOULEVARD <br />WIDENING - Greenville <br />Street to Baer Street <br /> <br />220,000 110,000 <br /> <br /> <br />
