ANIMAL CONTROL/SHELTER <br />FEE SCHEDULE <br /> Resolution No. 2002-220 <br /> Effective August 1, 2002 <br /> <br />ANIMALS IMPOUNDED AT THE SHELTER <br /> <br />DALLY CARE AND FEED: (Start with first day, Sundays and holidays included. No charge if <br />redeemed same day, i.e., day of impound.) <br /> <br /> a. Large animal <br /> b Medium animal <br /> c. Dog or cat <br /> d. All other animals <br />2. Veterinary Services <br /> a. Rabies Vaccination <br /> <br />Daily Feed and Care Fees - for each day commencing the da.,,' after impound <br /> $ 21.00 <br /> S 14.00 <br /> S 14.00 <br /> Actual Cost <br /> <br />S 8.00 <br />$ 21.00 <br /> <br /> b. Services performed by County staff, <br /> per quarter hour or portion thereof <br /> c. Services performed by other than County staff, per treatment $ 40.00 <br /> d. Other procedures (X-rays, shots, lab) At Cost <br />NOTE: The Director may charge the owner or custodian for veterinary care rendered to <br />impounded animals and such charges shall constitute a lien on said anlmals. The Director <br />may approve payment from County funds to practicing veterinarians rendering treatment to <br />impounded animals. <br /> 3. Impound Fee <br /> a. Large animal (horse, cow, etc.), actual cost or $ 67.00 <br /> b. Medium animal (pig, sheep, etc.), actual cost or $ 52.00 <br /> c. Dog, cat, or other small animal, actual cost or $ 45.00 <br />NOTE: The charge for animals impounded more than once within a 12 month period will be <br /> 150% of the prior impounding charge. <br />4. Impound Fines (Mandated by AB1856): <br /> Owners of impounded animals which are not spayed or neutered shall be fined as <br /> follows: <br /> a. First occurrence $ 35.00 <br /> b. Second occurrence S 50.00 <br /> c. Third or subsequent occurrence $100.00 <br />NOTE: The above f~es are in addition to any other fines or impound fees currentIy assessed <br />for impounded animals. <br /> <br />5. Placement Fee <br /> a. Dog <br /> b. Cat <br /> c. Other animal subject to placement <br /> d. Senior Animal for Senior Citizen - Dog <br /> e.
