DHG:eg <br />3/24/83 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-50 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING A MIDBLOCK CROSSWALK ON <br />SANTA ANA BOULEVARD BETWEEN ROSS STREET AND, <br />BROADWAY <br />WHEREAS, Section 36-1115 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code provides <br />that the City Council may establish crosswalks between intersections, and <br />WHEREAS, the Director of Transportation Services finds that a cross- <br />walk is needed across Santa Ana Boulevard betweenRossStreet and Broadway to <br />serve the public and recommends its establishment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: That a midblock pederstrian crosswalk across <br />Santa Ana Boulevard, between Ross Street and Broadway in the City of <br />Santa Ana, California, is hereby established, and the Director of <br />Transportation Services is hereby authorized to mark the location of the cross- <br />walk by the placement of appropriate lines upon the pavement of Ross Street <br />from 446 feet to 472 feet east of the survey centerline of Ross Street, <br />measured along the centerline of Santa Ana Boulevard. <br />ADOPTED THIS 18th day of April , 1983. <br />R.W.
