***REPEALED BY RES. 87-38 dated 5/18/87*** REL: jd <br />7/1/83 <br />7/8/83 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83- 91 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA ESTABLISHING AND REGULATING FEES AND <br />CHARGES FOR THE ADMINISTRATION AND ENFORCEMENT <br />OF CHAPTER 8 OF THE SANTA ANA MUNICIPAL CODE <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Santa Ana <br />finds and determines that the fees and charges hereinafter <br />set forth are established in amounts sufficient to provide <br />revenue equal to the costs of administration and enforcement <br />of the provisions of Chapter 8 of the Santa Ana Municipal <br />Code, and are reasonable and fairly allocated on the basis of <br />burdens imposed and benefits received by the persons required <br />to pay such fees and charges; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council <br />of the City of Santa Ana that fees and charges for permits, <br />planchecks, inspections, and investigations pursuant to Chapter <br />8, "Buildings and Structures" of the Santa Ana Municipal Code <br />are hereby established and regulated as follows: <br />1. (a) GENERAL PROVISIONS. <br />Unless otherwise provided, payment of fees and <br />charges as established herein shall be made to the Director <br />of Planning and Development Services (hereinafter "Director") <br />or his authorized representative at the time of initial ap- <br />plication or request for the permit or service for which a <br />fee or charge is imposed. No permit shall be issued to any <br />person, firm, or corporation unless all fees therefor have <br />been paid in full. <br />Exception: Waiver of Fee <br />No permit or plancheck fees required by this resolution <br />will be charged for projects performed under contract with <br />the City of Santa Ana nor for any work performed by employees <br />of the City of Santa Ana on City owned properties. However, <br />this fee waiver does not exempt any party from obtaining a <br />permit for such work nor exempt such party from conforming to <br />the procedures established by the City nor from compliance <br />with all applicable City and State ordinances regulating such <br />work. <br />(b) REFUNDS. <br />Upon written request from the permittee, refunds of <br />permit fees may be made to the permittee in an amount equal <br />
