REL:ar <br />8/17/83 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 83-107 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING THE GENERAL <br />PLAN OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of.the_City of <br />Santa Ana, at its regular meeting of August 8, 1983, after <br />Iduly noticed public hearing, approved amendments to the <br />General Plan of the City of Santa Ana as hereinafter set <br />(forth; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed the initial <br />!environmental study and negative declaration prepared for <br />(these proposed General Plan amendments; and <br />WHEREAS, this Council, after duly noticed public <br />!hearing, concurs in the Planning Commission's approval of <br />(the said General Plan amendments: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />(SANTA ANA DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: <br />1. That the adoption of the said General Plan <br />amendments will not have any significant effect on the <br />environment, and the negative declaration prepared for said <br />amendments is hereby approved. <br />2. That the General Plan of the City of Santa Ana <br />lis hereby amended as follows: <br />(A) The "Land Use Plan" of the Land Use Element <br />is hereby amended in the following particulars: <br />(1) That certain area bounded on the north <br />by Santa Ana Boulevard, Lincoln Avenue, and the Santa Ana <br />Freeway; on the east by Grand Avenue; on the south by Fruit <br />Street, the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way, and <br />Sixth Street; and on the west by French Street, is hereby <br />redesignated from the "High-density residential," <br />"Institutional," and "Professional and Administrative <br />Offices" land use categories, to the "Mixed Use Corridor" <br />category. <br />(2) That certain area bounded on the north <br />by Broadway Place; on the east by Main Street; on the south <br />by Dyer Road; and on the west by a line parallel to and 200 <br />feet to the west of Main Street, is hereby redesignated from <br />
