RESOLUTION NO. 83-108 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA INCREASING AND ESTABLISHING LOCAL DRAINAGE AREA FEES AND REPEALING RESOLUTION NO. 80-74 WHEREAS, on August 7, 1961, the City of Santa Ana adopted a Storm and Surface Water Drainage Plan as an element of the General Plan of the City; and WHEREAS, Section 34-193 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code establishes thirteen (13) local drainage areas and authorizes drainage fees for each such area; and WHEREAS, the construction cost index for the Los Angeles area (which includes Santa Ana) as established by the Engineering News Record indicates a 35.6% increase in construction costs since those fees were last adjusted in 1980; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That from and after the date of adoption hereof, the drainage area fee to be paid for each gross acre of land being subdivided or developed in each of the local drainage areas, respectively, shall be as follows: Local Drainage Area No. I $2,850.00 Local Drainage Area No. II 2,745.00 Local Drainage Area No. III 3,080.00 Local Drainage Area No. IV 2,040.00 Local Drainage Area No. V 3,050.00 Local Drainage Area No. VI 2,285.00 Local Drainage Area No. VII 2,630.00 Local Drainage Area No. VIII 2,080.00 Local Drainage Area No. IX 1,635.00 Local Drainage Area No. X 2,230.00 Local Drainage Area No. XI 2,705.00 Local Drainage Area No. XII 1,030.00 Local Drainage Area No. XIII 900.00 2. Resolution No. 80-74 of this Council, adopted on April 21, 1980, is hereby repealed.
