7. <br /> <br /> 8. <br /> <br /> 9. <br /> <br />10, <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />Historical building code requirements will be 9ermitted to facilitate <br />historical restoration where health and safety concerns are not violated. <br /> <br />Mature landscaping on historical properties shall be maintained. <br /> <br />The painting of historical structures shall be in keeping with the quality <br />and character of the design period and compatible with surrounding uses. <br /> <br />Historical restorations shall include landscaping schemes that complement <br />the overall design of the structures on th~ property. <br /> <br />Exterior finishes on historical structures shall be similar to the quality <br />and character of the original structure. <br /> <br />No historic building shall be demolished until the following requirements <br />are satisfied: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />A Request for Demolition letter be completed by Heritage Orange <br />County. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact Heritage <br />Orange County for review and determination of significance of <br />any historic building identified by the Planning and Development <br />Services Director. <br /> <br />b) <br /> <br />Heritage Orange County will have 14 days to review the request. <br />If Heritage Orange County cannot acquire the structure or make <br />arrangements for its acquisition or relocation, a demolition <br />permit must be approved in accordance with the Uniform Building <br />Code. <br /> <br />- 38 - <br /> <br /> <br />
