RESOLUTION NO. 84-120 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA AMA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD CERTAIN NEW JOB CLASSIFICATION TO CLASSIFY AND COMPENSATE NEW POSITIONS ~UTFCR!ZED tN THE 1984-85 AMNUAL BUDGET AMD TO IMPLEMENT OTHER CHAMGES TO THE CITY BASIC CLASSIFICATION PLAN WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982, the City Council passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-].10 revising and re-establishing the basic Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and employees of the City of Santa Anal and WHEREAS~ Section 1104, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council: and WHEREAS, with the adoption of the 1984-85 Annual Budget, City CouncJ~ apprcved the addition of new positions throughout the City organization, including s number of such positions which, due to significantly different duty, responsibility and qualification requirements, cannot be allocated to existing classes found in the City's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan (Resolution No. 82-110, as amended); and WHEREAS, it is now desired to add several new class titles, together with approp~ate salary rate ranges, to the City's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan; designate two such new classes as unrepresented Middle- Management (MM); and designate one existing middie-m~nagement class as "terminal." NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended by: a. Adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the following class titles at salary rate ranges inS~cated: Class Title Salary Rate Range Associate Real Estate Officer III Budget and Research Officer Deputy Clerk of the Council II Legislative Records Clerk 516 (2587-3144) M544 (2965-3269) 419 (1612-1960) 379 (1327-1612)
