RESOLUTION NO. 84-152 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE ISSUANCE BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF ITS SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX ALLOCATION BONDS 1984, AND MAKING CERTAIN DETERMINATIONS RELATING THERETO WHEREAS, the City of Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agency (the "Agency") is a redevelopment agency duly created, established and authorized to transact business and exercise its Powers, all under and pursuant to the Community Redevelopment Law (Part 1 of Division 24 (commencing with Section 33000) of the Health and Safety Code of the State of California) and the powers of the Agency include the power to issue bonds for any of its corporate purposes; and WHEREAS, a Redevelopment Plan known as the "South Main Street Redevelopment Project" has been adopted and approved by the City of Santa Ana (the "City"), and all requirements of law for the precedent to the adoption and approval of said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, have been duly complied with; and WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted its Resolution entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 84-17 AND AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF TAX ALLOCATION BONDS OF SAID AGENCY IN A PRINCIPAL AMOUNT OF NINETEEN MILLION DOLLARS ($19,000,000) TO FINANCE A PORTION OF THE COST OF A REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT KNOWN AS THE SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT"; and WHEREAS, the Agency has adopted its Resolution entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY AWARDING $19,000,000 SOUTH MAIN STREET REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT TAX ALLOCATION BONDS 1984, TO THE TEST BIDDER AND REJECTING ALL OTHER BIDS"; and WHEREAS, under and pursuant to the above Resolution, the Agency has authorized the issuance and sale of $19,000,000 City of Santa Ana Community Redevelopment Agenoy South Main Street Redevelopment Project Tax Allocation Bonds 1984 (the "Bonds").
