067 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-7 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD NEW JOB CLASSES TO <br />CLASSIFY AND COMPENSATE NEW POSITIONS AUTHORIZED IN THE <br />1985-8~o ANNUAL BUDGET AI~D TO EFFECT C~I~HER CHANGES TO THE <br />CITY'S BASIC CLASSIFICATION A~D CC~IPEMSATION PLAN <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City COuncil passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plan for Officers and Employees of the <br />City of Santa Ana; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City ~larter of the City <br />of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and n~intain <br />a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules <br />and regulations and the approval of the City Council: and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said <br />Resolution: and <br /> <br /> WHfP. EAS, with the adoption of the 1985-86 Annual Budget, City <br />Council approved the addition and/or reclassification of various <br />positions throughout the City organization including a number of such <br />positions which, due to significantly different duty, responsibility and <br />qualification requirements, cannot be allocated to existing classes <br />found in the City's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is now desired to add three new class titles, <br />together with assigned salary rate ranges, to the City's Basic <br />Classification and Coz~Densation Plan and to change one class title <br />without any change in salar"y. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RE~OLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended, is <br />hereby further amended by: <br /> <br /> a.
