RESOLUTION NO. 86-64 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO CHANGE THE SALARY RATE RANGE <br />ASSIGNED TO THE CLASS OF SECRETARy TO THE CITY MANAGER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City Council passed and adopted <br />Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the basic Classification <br />and Compensation Plan for the Officers and Employees of the City of Santa Ana; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of <br />Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a <br />position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and <br />regulations and the approval of the City Council; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, City Council has from time to time amended said Resolution; <br /> <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, based on an analysis of prevailing salary rates paid for <br />comparable work in other major Orange County cities and the application of <br />other salary administration criteria, including internal salary relationships, <br />the City Manager has recommended that the single-position class of Secretary <br />to the City Manager warrants a special salary adjustment at this time; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to amend the City's Basic <br />Classification and Compensation Plan by assigning a new salary rate range to <br />said existing classification. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA: <br /> <br /> 1. That Section 3 of Resolution No. 82-110, as amended by fixing and <br />establishing the salary rate range assigned to the class title of Secretary to <br />the City Manager at Salary Rate Range No. 480, $2169 to $2637 per month. <br /> <br />1986. <br /> <br />2. That this Resolution shall be operative from and after <br />ADOPTED this 7th day of kJ~ul~ , 1986. <br /> <br /> Daniel E.
