REL :adg-24 <br />7/28/86 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 86-~ <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA APPROVING <br />VARIANCE NO. 86-8 TO WAIVE A PORTION <br />OF THE SIDE YARD, OPEN SPACE AND OFF- <br />STREET PARKING REQUIREMENTS ON PROPERTY <br />LOCATED AT 717 NORTH LACY STREET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council held a public hearing on July 21, <br />1986, on Variance Application No. 86-8, which application <br />sought to allow construction of a two-story, three unit apartment <br />building with waivers of side yard, off-street parking, and open <br />space requirements on property located at 717 North Lacy Street <br />as shown on the map attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated <br />herein by reference; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. Based on the evidence submitted at the abovesaid <br />hearing, this Council finds and determines as follows: <br /> <br /> (a) The narrow width of the subject parcel <br />makes any multiple-family residential development <br />infeasible without waivers of yard, off-street <br />parking and open-space requirements. <br /> <br /> (b) The proposed multiple-family residential <br />use will not be detrimental to the health, safety <br />or general welfare of persons in the vicinity. <br /> <br /> (c) Use of the <br />residential purposes <br />right. <br /> <br />property for multiple-family <br />is a substantial property <br /> <br /> (d) Multiple-family residential use of the <br />property is consistent with the general plan. <br /> <br /> <br />
