RESOLUTION NO. 86-100 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA PROVIDING THE SANTA ANA ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT <br />CORPORATION WITH OVERSIGHT OF THE BUSINESS ENTERPRISE <br />CENTER <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Santa Aha has developed a business <br />enterprise center to foster start-up business and employment <br />growth in the community; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Santa Ana Economic <br />(SAEDC), a local non-profit organization, <br />the enhancement of the Santa Ana economy; <br /> <br />Development Corporation <br />has as its primary goal <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council of the City <br />desirous of delegating operating responsibility <br />enterprise center programming; <br /> <br />of Santa Ana is <br />for business <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> 1. That the City Manager is hereby directed to consult <br />with the SAEDC with regard to oversight of business enterprise <br />center programming and operations. <br /> <br />authority <br /> <br />2. That in this role, the SAEDC will have advisory <br />concerning the following activities: <br /> <br />a) preparation and implementation of policies for <br /> tenant entry, exit and review; <br /> <br />b) development and evaluation of business services <br /> provided tenants; and <br /> <br />c) development and evaluation of tenant training <br /> topics. <br /> <br /> 3. That the SAEDC shall be afforded the opportunity to <br />review all lease agreements with tenants of the business <br />enterprise center and recommend to the City Manager approval or <br />disapproval of the same. <br /> <br /> <br />
