RESOLUTION NO. 86-102 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 82-110 TO ADD THREE NEW JOB CLASSES TO CLASSIFY AND COMPENSATE NEWLY AUTHORIZED POSITIONS IN THE DEVELOPMENT PROCESSING CENTER OF THE PLANNING AND BUILDING SAFETY DEPARTMENT WHEREAS, on August 2, 1982 the City COuncil passed and adopted Resolution No. 82-110 revising and re-establishing the Basic Classification and Compensation Plan for non-management employees of the City of Santa Ana; and WHEREAS, Section 1004, Article X of the City Charter of the City of Santa Ana requires the City Manager to prepare, install and maintain a position classification and pay plan subject to civil service rules and regulations and the approval of the City Council; and WHEREAS, on October 30, 1986, City Council approved in concept staff's proposal to implement a one-step development processing service center including the addition of a specialized job class series for the assignment of City staff members to provide assistance to developers and various City agencies in coordinating and expediting internal processing of permit applications, plan approvals, etc. WHEREAS, it is now desired to add three new class titles together with assigned salary rate ranges to the city's Basic Classification and Compensation Plan. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA: 1. That Section 3 of Resolution 82-110, as amended, is hereby further amended by adding in proper alphabetical sequence, the following new class titles at the salary rate ranges as next thereto set out: Class Title Salary Rate Ranges Development Processing Aide Development Processor I Development Processor II 417 ($1596-$1940) 457 ($1940-$2357) 487 ($2246-$2730)
